I started by making an animatic with the collages and sound we got as base before planning out how to transition best between the styleframes and how to incorporate the rhythm of the music. I wanted to create one continuous, fluid animation by using match cuts while also mimicking the look and feel of the collages that lead us through Nol's week. To finish it off I added in lots of subtle little details in between the transitions to keep the animation going.
A Week to Remember
Collage styleframes by Nol Honig illustrating a week in his life were the base for this animation. My focus was set on creating match cut transitions and keeping the scenes alive throughout the piece. This project was part of School of Motion's "Animation Bootcamp 2.0".
